No Blog Formatting on iPad

So I was wondering. . . Why do other people have nicely-formatted blogs when my formatting, paragraph breaks, italics and so forth all disappear as soon as I hit "publish"? Well, it seems, because I use an iPad2. There is no formatting bar, and all of those other people without an iPad have a formatting bar. I could program formatting in, using HTML commands, but perhaps I should just give up blogging from the iPad and use my dinosaur upstairs. Might be easier. Paragraph Break. Thanks for reading.
